Human Resources Generalist

LaSalle Network is hiring a Human Resources Manager at a global manufacturing company based in Deerfield, IL. This organization brings over 100 years of industry experience and are continuing to grow at an impressive rate.

The Human Resources Manager will be the right hand to the VP of Human Resources, acting as a trusted HR advisor for corporate and manufacturing staff. The ideal candidate will be a true generalist in HR with a strong knowledge of employee relations, engagement and talent development.

Human Resources Manager Responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact and liaison for employee inquiries, concerns, conflict resolution and off-boarding between managers and employees.
• Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions in line with company policies.
• Create and drive policy and HR programs across the organization.
• Suggest and implement enhancements for the employee relations program.
• Assist in the administration of performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
• Provide guidance on coaching, feedback, and development planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.
  
  

Human Resources Manager Requirements:

• Bachelors degree preferred; SHRM or similiar certifications are a plus
• 8+ years of human resources experience in a generalist capacity
• Manufacturing, distribution or similiar industry experience required
• Proven ability to successfully manage an employee relations investigation program.
• Proven experience driving policy changes in a matrixed organization.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
  
  

This position can pay between $110,000-130,000 salary and offers benefits including health, dental, and vision. This position is on-site in Deerfield, IL.
