Our client is seeking a well-rounded Human Resources Generalist with hands-on experience in employee relations and HR operations. The Human Resources Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, providing guidance on HR policies, performance management, and workplace concerns while reinforcing a culture of accountability and professional growth. This role requires strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and the ability to manage employee investigations from intake through resolution.
Compensation Range: 80,000 - $85,000 annually
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, offering practical guidance and solutions to workplace issues.
- Conduct thorough investigations, handling all aspects from intake to resolution, ensuring fairness, compliance, and timely outcomes.
- Provide expertise in federal and state employment regulations and HR policy interpretation, escalating complex matters as needed.
- Support leadership with performance management, including coaching, counseling, corrective action, and career development conversations.
- Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation, ensuring employees understand expectations, policies, and available resources.
- Collaborate on initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, and morale.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for leaders, including performance management and communication skills.
- Maintain awareness of HR best practices, legal updates, and compliance requirements, ensuring HR operations remain effective and aligned with organizational standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Prior experience in full-cycle investigations from intake to resolution
- Proven ability to handle sensitive workplace matters with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment
- 3-5 years of HR experience

- Must be eligible to obtain any licenses or permits required by federal, state, or local regulations
