Human Resources Generalist

Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and help foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace. This role works across multiple HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support HR programs including recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and concerns
  • Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
  • Support payroll, benefits enrollment, and leave administration
  • Assist with training, engagement, and culture-building initiatives
  • Participate in investigations and help resolve employee relations issues

Qualifications

  • Required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar HR role
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required
  • Excellent and knowledge of Paychex Flex

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
