Human Resources / Office Administrator

Mabry Brothers Inc. has been family owned and operated since 1995. We proudly serve all Southwest Florida, providing electrical, HVAC, and generator services.

We are currently seeking a Human Resources / Office Administrator to join our team. This role supports both HR functions and daily office operations. Experience in accounts payable and HR is preferred but not required. Pay will be based on experience.

Office Hours are Monday – Friday 7:30AM – 4:00PM

Job Description:

  • Support day-to-day HR operations across the full employee lifecycle, from hiring through separation
  • Manage recruitment tasks, including background checks and motor vehicle record (MVR) verifications
  • Oversee onboarding and compliance, including I-9 documentation and issuing uniforms
  • Coordinate annual employee reviews and keep department managers informed
  • Maintain employee records, track attendance and leave, and process payroll
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance
  • Handle offboarding, including employee exits and return of company-issued equipment and uniforms
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments
  • Monitor AVL tracking for field staff and vehicles
  • File Notices of Commencement (NOC) and assist with permit processing
  • Assist with small claims filings and related documentation
  • Support general office operations as needed

Experience:

  • Experience in accounts payable and/or human resources preferred
  • Experience with accounts receivable and vendor transactions is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Reconciliation experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical abilities
  • HR experience in the electrical and/or HVAC industry is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (Required)
  • Customer Service: 3 years (Required)
