Human Resources Generalist

Human Resources Generalist | Full-Time | On-Site (Cairo, Egypt)

On behalf of a fast-growing software solutions company, we are currently seeking a proactive and detail-driven Human Resources Generalist to support and strengthen their HR function.

This is a full-time on-site opportunity , based in Cairo, Egypt.

About the Role

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will play an essential role in maintaining organizational health, supporting strategic workforce planning, and ensuring operational efficiency within the HR department. Your contributions will directly support business growth, policy compliance, and informed decision-making regarding people and culture.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who is analytical, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and administration of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
  • Assist in the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and onboarding new hires
  • Monitor daily HR activities, including attendance, leave management, and employee records
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, social insurance regulations, and internal audits
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance employee engagement and streamline HR processes
  • Contribute to performance management cycles and provide insights to support strategic talent initiatives
  • Coordinate with external vendors and maintain accurate documentation for payroll and benefit requirements
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date personnel files in accordance with company policies and legal standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Professional certifications such as PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP are advantageous
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in human resources, personnel, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of Egyptian Labor Law and social insurance regulations
  • Experience using HRIS systems such as BambooHR, Zoho People, or similar platforms
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently in an on-site environment
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
