Human Resources Generalist

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations within a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment. This role will be heavily involved in employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and workplace safety initiatives, making it ideal for someone with strong knowledge of OSHA standards and manufacturing safety practices. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working closely with production teams while helping maintain a safe, compliant, and positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation
• Support employee relations, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
• Assist with safety initiatives, OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and workers’ compensation processes
• Help maintain safety documentation, training records, and compliance reporting
• Partner with leadership to promote a strong safety culture throughout the facility
• Maintain HR records, employee files, and HRIS systems accurately
• Support benefits administration, attendance tracking, and payroll-related functions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and HR best practices
• Assist with employee engagement, retention efforts, and training programs

Qualifications:

• Previous HR Generalist experience within manufacturing, food production, or industrial environments preferred
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards, workplace safety practices, and compliance procedures
• Experience handling workers’ compensation claims, safety audits, and incident reporting is highly preferred
• Knowledge of HRIS, payroll, and applicant tracking systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

Pay: $73,300.98 - $88,276.44 per year
