Human Resources Generalist

Objective:

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing in various HR functions, Including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws and company policies. You will work closely with the HR Director and team members to ensure smooth HR Operations and contribute to creating a positive work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

- Coordinate recruitment efforts, including reviewing job applications and resumes. You will schedule interviews and ensure the background check is completed.

- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have all necessary paperwork completed, access to relevant systems, and a smooth transition into their roles.

Employee Relations:

- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.

- Assist in resolving employee issues or conflicts, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

- Support HR Director in conducting investigations and disciplinary action as needed.

- Performance Management:

- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of performance appraisal systems.

- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance management processes and best practices.

- Support HR managers in identifying training and development needs for employees.

Benefits Administration:

- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.

- Assist employees with benefit enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

- Collaborate with external vendors and insurers to ensure timely and accurate administration of benefits.

HR Compliance:

- Stay updated on labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure compliance.

- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

- Conduct audits and assessments to ensure HR processes align with legal requirements and company standards.

HR Administration:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic.

- Generate HR reports and analytics as needed for management decision-making.

- Assist in organizing HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations, or benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
