Human Resources Generalist II
Location: Onsite in Staunton, VA (sitting in VA with multi-site support)

As the HR Generalist supporting our Mid-Atlantic facilities, you’ll be at the heart of our people operations, ensuring our teams have the support, clarity, and confidence they need to do their best work. You’ll handle a mix of hands-on HR activity and process improvement — managing employee relations, guiding performance management, and driving efficiency in our HR systems and practices. Your work helps create the environment where employees who make life-changing medical products can thrive. This role reports to the regional HRBP.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a trusted HR contact for employees and managers across multiple sites, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations issues.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and company policies.

Support performance management processes including coaching leaders, facilitating reviews, and maintaining documentation.

Lead or assist with full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and technical roles, including machinists, tool & die, machine operators, and quality inspectors.

Partner with hiring managers to develop effective recruiting strategies and streamline selection processes.

Enter and maintain data in the Company’s HRIS and ATS systems

Identify opportunities to streamline, digitize, and automate HR processes.

Support onboarding, new hire orientation, and employee engagement initiatives.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive employee information and issues.

Contribute to broader HR projects and initiatives across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Periodic travel as needed for site support, 5-10%.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.

3-5 years of HR generalist experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Strong working knowledge of VA employment law and HR compliance.

Hands-on experience with HRIS and ATS systems (UKG, Workday, or similar), including report generation and process improvement.

Proven ability to recruit for technical manufacturing roles.

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple sites.
