We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist Intern who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment. This internship lets you transform academic theory into practical solutions, analyzing, improving, and innovating real human capital processes. The selected intern will work on meaningful projects focused on improvement processes, recruiting, onboarding, training and development, and employee experience.

Duties and Tasks

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support process improvement initiatives by evaluating HR workflows and identifying opportunities for automation or streamlining.
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and mapping for HR processes.
  • Support recruitment efforts including job postings, applicant tracking, and participation in career fairs.
  • Contribute to training and development projects, such as onboarding materials and learning resources.
  • Prepare and present reports and summaries of HR findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in team meetings, cross-functional projects, and process design sessions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated organization, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Commitment to uphold confidentiality, respect, and professionalism in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated discipline in time management and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college, university, or vocational-technical program in the United States for the duration of the internship.
  • Must be at least sophomore standing by the beginning of the internship (or have completed the first year of a vocational/technical program).
  • Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Internship duties must align with the student's academic major or career goals.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
  • Major in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a closely related field.
