Basic Purpose of the Job
Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager and/or the Senior Vice-President of HR, supports and develops relationships with specified business units of the hospital. Provides general support with focus on employee relations/conflict resolution, recruitment strategy, process/technological improvement, training and development, and process improvement.
Minimum Education
BA/BS in human resources management, related field, or equivalent education/experience preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
Three (3) years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist.
Required Licenses / Certifications
PHR Certification or SHRM-CP preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of current employment/labor law, benefits related law, pension/ERISA regulations, wage and hour laws, fair labor standard act, worker's compensation laws, OSHA regulations, and other human resources-related legislation is desired.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
