Overall Objective

To provide support to the ECCO Americas People & Culture team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assist with the recruitment process, including resume searching, reviewing, and interview scheduling.

  • Create, maintain, and audit personnel records as necessary.

  • Perform general clerical duties such as typing, filing, and faxing.

  • Organize and distribute benefit packages.

  • Assist with HR administration and reporting, including unemployment claims, verifications of employment, etc.

  • Facilitate archiving of HR files and maintain inventory lists.

  • Support employee recognition efforts, including service awards, weddings, birth announcements, and retirements.

  • Conduct research for HR-related special projects.

  • Take on other duties as assigned.


    This position will last til around March 2026 with possibility to extend. This is also a part time role

Preferred Qualifications – Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, college degree preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service, administrative support or HR assistant role, but not required.

  • Exceptional professionalism (communications, interactions, appearance).
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally (verbal and written).
  • Ability to prioritize work and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Superior organization and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage fluctuating workloads and maintain appropriate response times.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
  • Exhibits a service-mindset in all interactions with internal and external contacts.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Ability to quickly learn and proficiently work within multiple systems.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level; multi-lingual preferred.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate them clearly
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving puzzles, especially in Excel
  • Naturally curious and eager to explore new ideas and approaches
  • Approaches tasks with energy, focus, and a results-driven attitude

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. to waist-height on an occasional basis.
