Position Summary
The Human Resources Intern will provide hands-on, in-office support to the HR team in daily operations and administrative functions. This paid internship offers practical exposure to key HR areas including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR compliance. The role is ideal for individuals seeking real-world experience in a fast-paced professional office environment. The duration of this internship will range from 10-12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist with posting job openings on job boards and internal systems
- Screen resumes and organize candidate applications
- Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communications
- Support onboarding by preparing offer letters, new hire packets, and orientation materials
Employee Records & HR Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files (paper and electronic)
- Enter and update employee information in HR systems
- Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive information
Employee Engagement & Support
- Assist with planning and executing employee engagement activities and events
- Support internal communications such as announcements and newsletters
- Provide front-line support for employee inquiries and direct them appropriately
HR Operations
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department
- Assist with timekeeping and payroll preparation support tasks
- Support benefits enrollment and documentation processes
Compliance & Reporting
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Help prepare reports, audits, and HR documentation
- Ensure proper filing and document retention procedures are followed

Work Environment
