Internship Program Structure:

Duration/Schedule: Flexible part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer months.

What you'll focus on:
-
Provide employee customer service.
-
Perform human resources project work, including assistance with recruitment, benefits administration, research, creating reports, and event planning assistance.

Assist in conducting new hire orientation.
-
Ensure timely and accurate HRIS data updates.

Maintain employee file accuracy.
-
Maintain confidentiality.
-
Document and improve processes.
What we're looking for:

Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Human Resources or a related field with current status of at least a Sophomore level.

Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills to assist employees with questions.

Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Planning and organizational skills.

Time management skills.

Attention to detail.

Ability to succeed in a team environment.

Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Preferred experience:

HRIS experience.

Customer service experience.

Familiarity and/or experience with HR practices and HR law.
