Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment and labor laws. This role requires strategic planning capabilities and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture while effectively managing HR programs and processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring top talent.
- Manage employee orientation and onboarding programs to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
- Develop and implement performance management systems that align with organizational goals.
- Provide guidance on FMLA, workers' compensation, OSHA regulations, and other employment laws to ensure compliance.
- Facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Lead conflict management efforts to resolve workplace disputes and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning initiatives related to human capital management.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure effective communication of benefits options.
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Workday, Paychex, or ADP for data collection, payroll processing, and reporting.
- Conduct data analysis to inform decision-making processes related to HR functions.
- Implement process improvements in HR operations for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in human resources management with a focus on talent management and employee relations.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, including FMLA, OSHA regulations, and workers' compensation.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead teams effectively.
- Expertise in negotiation skills for contract discussions and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with various HR software platforms such as Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos, or UltiPro.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present information clearly at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in program management and strategic planning.
