Role Overview

As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our rapid growth by providing a strategic HR partnership to MPWA’s business. You will partner closely with department leaders to understand their unique talent needs and develop effective HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent and manage HR matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic goals and translate them into actionable HR initiatives.
  • Support employee onboarding, performance management, and career development initiatives within your assigned business units.
  • Recruit, interview, and select employees to fill vacant positions.
  • Provide expert guidance and consultation on a wide range of HR matters, including compensation and benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in HR.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and serve as a trusted advisor on all HR-related matters.
  • Guide and support regarding benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Coordinate management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, etc.
  • Prepare personnel forecast to project employment needs.
  • Analyze HR data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop data-driven HR strategies.
  • Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
  • Perform other such duties as may be required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in HR Business Partnership or a related role.
  • Proven track record of success in partnering with business leaders to achieve strategic goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SuccessFactors, UKG, Paylocity preferred.
