Human Resources Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to lead our HR department and support our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of employment and labor laws, talent acquisition, and employee relations. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage various HR functions effectively. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping our company culture and driving employee engagement.

Duties

  • Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in compliance with FMLA and other employment laws.
  • Manage talent acquisition processes including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Supervise HR staff and provide guidance on performance management, employee evaluation, and conflict management.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Administer benefits programs, payroll processing, and workers' compensation claims.
  • Conduct data analysis for HR metrics to inform strategic planning and process improvement.
  • Implement organization design strategies to align workforce capabilities with business objectives.
  • Facilitate employee orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
  • Manage employee relations issues with a focus on conflict resolution and maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on succession planning and talent management strategies.

Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, and HRIS systems (such as Workday, Paychex).
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in contracts management.
  • Proficient in data collection and analysis for informed decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with performance management systems and employee evaluation processes.
  • Proven ability to lead change management initiatives effectively within an organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $67,775.77 - $81,622.42 per year
