The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role plays a key part in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals, ensuring a positive workplace culture, and managing day-to-day HR operations such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Partner with management to support organizational goals, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Drive HR projects to improve efficiency, employee engagement, and retention.
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment cycle — from job posting to hiring and onboarding.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Ensure a smooth onboarding process that enhances employee experience.
3. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
4. Performance Management
- Develop and manage the performance appraisal system.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement.
- Identify training needs and support learning & development initiatives.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee payroll, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration.
- Recommend improvements to compensation and benefits policies.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to wages and benefits.
6. HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications (Preferred): SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
