Human Resources Manager

India

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. This role plays a key part in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals, ensuring a positive workplace culture, and managing day-to-day HR operations such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Partner with management to support organizational goals, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Drive HR projects to improve efficiency, employee engagement, and retention.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle — from job posting to hiring and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process that enhances employee experience.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.

4. Performance Management

  • Develop and manage the performance appraisal system.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement.
  • Identify training needs and support learning & development initiatives.

5. Compensation & Benefits

  • Oversee payroll, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration.
  • Recommend improvements to compensation and benefits policies.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to wages and benefits.

6. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Experience: 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Certifications (Preferred): SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent.
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
