Position Summary

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, compensation & benefits, performance management, and organizational development. This role requires a strategic leader who can balance hands-on execution with long-term planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee multi-state HR compliance (employment laws, wage & hour, safety, etc.).
  • Lead recruiting efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent across skilled trades and corporate roles.
  • Design and manage compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
  • Partner with leaders to support workforce planning, employee engagement, and retention.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
  • Ensure employee relations are handled professionally, fairly, and consistently.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees.
  • Create and maintain HR policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Manage HR systems and data integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in construction, trades, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state employment laws.
  • Proven success in scaling HR functions during periods of rapid growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with executive leadership and frontline employees.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
