Human Resources Manager
This full-time position will focus mainly on heavy recruiting efforts by conferring with various department management staff to identify recruiting needs and developing effective recruiting plans and strategies. This position is also responsible for the overall coordination of human resources generalist functions to include regulatory compliance, adherence to policies and procedures, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, and all other day-to-day office duties.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with managers to recruit for all open positions, to include writing job descriptions and job postings, maintaining online job boards and company website job postings, reviewing resumes and phone screens applicants, assisting with scheduling of face-to-face interviews, extending offers, and performing all other pre-employment activities, such as reference checks and background checks
- Coordinates the onboarding of all new hires with management team to ensure timely start date and processes all new hire paperwork, payroll related forms, and company specific documents
- Educates and partners with the management team to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence with company policies and procedures
- Stays informed of new and changing HR employment laws and issues and works with management to implement changes as necessary
- Provides assistance and knowledge to all employees with regard to HR/Company policies and procedures
- Benefit and workers compensation administrator
- Build strong relationships with the employees by actively engaging and maintaining consistent and positive communication throughout all of the facilities
- Works with managers to resolve any employee relations matters and disciplinary process
- Has the ability to identify areas of improvement and opportunity as they relate to HR
- Oversees and ensures accurate and compliant recording and maintenance of employee information, such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and terminations/separations of employment
- Develop training for middle management team
- Provides valuable insight and recommendations regarding HR and recruiting efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years in a heavy recruiting role with positions in multi-states
- PHR or SPHR required
- Knowledge of federal and multi state labor laws to include CA
- Ability to handle confidential information
- MS Word, Excel, Outlook, ADP Workforce Now and ADP Run, and Clear Company.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
