Tru Plumbing and Gas is a locally owned, rapidly-growing plumbing and gas company serving the northwest panhandle area. As we grow, we’re looking for a skilled and people-focused HR Manager to help us build and support the best crew in the business.
Responsibilities
- Manage recruiting, interviewing, and hiring for office and field positions.
- Promote and comply with our Core Values (Compassion, Teamwork, Accountability, Knowledge, and Honesty)
- Create job postings and work with local schools and job boards to attract talent.
- Handle onboarding, training coordination, disciplinary actions, and maintain employee files.
- Support payroll, time tracking, and benefits administration.
- Update and enforce company policies (attendance, PTO, uniforms, etc.).
- Manage compliance with labor laws and safety standards.
- Assist with performance reviews and employee development.
- Help maintain a positive, professional company culture.
- Works collaboratively with management and local organizations to plan, promote, and execute community outreach programs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of HR or office management experience (construction/trades experience a plus)
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law.
- Great communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace, QuickBooks, or HR platforms (like BambooHR or ADP).
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
