Strategic Leader | Proactive Problem-Solver | Process-Driven Innovator

If you’re energized by communicating the vision, creating structure, and leading teams to execute with precision, we’re looking for you as our Human Resources Manager.

In this critical leadership role, you’ll oversee a small team of HR Assistants in charge of hiring, payroll, benefits and on-boarding talented individuals for our quickly-growing Residential Property Management company. Your hires directly impacting strategic owner relationships, risk management, operational excellence and the success of the team! You are someone who thinks and acts strategically, proactively solves problems independently, and continually seeks system enhancements to drive growth and efficiency and you have the experience needed to implement these systems to a quickly growing organization.

  • A strategic mindset, proactive approach, and consistent track record of anticipating and resolving operational challenges.
  • Natural ability to think independently and strategically without constant oversight.
  • Preference for clear processes, systematic decision-making, and continuous improvement while being able to effectively communicate the processes to team members.
  • Comfort taking calculated risks, while always protecting long-term organizational objectives.
  • Exceptional ability to organize priorities, delegate effectively, and lead teams confidently through big changes.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for all positions.
  • Create and manage job advertisements across appropriate platforms, ensuring alignment with company branding and employment standards.
  • Review resumes, pre-screen candidates, and coordinate assessment processes.
  • Conduct interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to select top talent.
  • Manage candidate communications to ensure a professional and positive recruiting experience.

Hiring & Onboarding

  • Oversee the full hiring process from offer creation to onboarding.
  • Conduct or coordinate orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Ensure completion of all required new-hire documentation and verify compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
  • Establish smooth transition plans to integrate employees into their roles and the company culture.

Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Manage and process payroll activities accurately and on schedule.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and other offerings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with tax, labor, and benefits regulations.

HR Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to leadership and staff on HR-related issues, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Maintain confidential and organized HR records and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven leadership, analytical, and conflict-resolution skills running a small team of specialists.
  • 3+ years of experience in an HR role.
  • Proven experience “whipping” a company into shape implementing systems to improve the candidate screening and hiring process.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
