Role Overview
We’re seeking a Human Resources Manager who thrives in a hands-on environment, loves solving people challenges, and enjoys working with teams who get things done. In this role, you will support a workforce of roughly 20 in-house staff and 50 drivers/field employees, ensuring smooth HR operations, compliance, and a positive company culture that reflects who we are. This is not a corporate cubicle job — this is HR that builds real relationships, supports field teams, and helps fuel a company known for reliability, innovation, and grit.
Key Responsibilities
· Employee Relations
· Assist in the hiring process as needed and ensure smooth new-hire onboarding.
· Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and support needs.
· Help reinforce and create company culture, communication flow, and team morale.
· Support managers with coaching, performance conversations, and conflict resolution.
HR Operations
· Maintain employee records, I-9s, certifications, driver files, and compliance documents. Maintain personnel files and compliance documentation.
· Coordinate payroll changes, PTO tracking, and employee status updates with accounting/leadership.
· Assist with benefits enrollment, workers comp claims, and safety paperwork.
Compliance & Policy
· Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws, DOT driver requirements, and company policies.
· Update employee handbook and HR procedures when needed.
Training & Safety Coordination
· Help track mandatory safety training completion and certifications.
· Support company-wide safety and compliance initiatives.
What You Bring
· 2+ years of HR experience (generalist, coordinator, or manager level) — experience in construction, trucking, waste services, or field-based operations is a plus.
· Strong understanding of basic HR functions: hiring, employee records, compliance, onboarding, and workplace communication.
· Comfortable supporting both office employees and field/driving staff.
· Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred — many of our crews speak Spanish as a first language.
· Excellent communication, discretion, fairness, and organization.
· Ability to work independently and build efficient processes in a growing environment.
· Experience with HRIS or digital employee record systems preferred (but not required — we’ll train the right person).
Why Join Andrade’s Clean Up?
· Be part of a legacy: 32+ years in business and a reputation for excellence.
· Room to shape our HR function as we grow
· Grow in a company that values initiative, reliability, and innovation.
· Real impact on people, culture, and daily operations
· Work with a diverse, bilingual team and build bridges between office and field.
· Competitive pay and benefits (to be determined based on location / company policy).
· Because here, you’re not just processing paperwork — you’re building the foundation of a stronger company.
Join a crew that's redefining cleanup as an art form. If you're reliable, hands-on, and thrive in dynamic sites, bring your grit to Andrades—where your skills fuel large projects, spark innovation, and earn the respect of industry leaders. Grow with a team that's been paving the way for decades.
