Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Manager to lead and support all aspects of our HR operations with a strong emphasis on employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational compliance. The ideal candidate will hold a current SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification and possess a minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated expertise in employee relations and resolution management.


The HR Manager will play a critical role in fostering a positive work environment by supporting employees and leadership with sound HR practices, strategic guidance, and compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance improvement planning, and grievance handling.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company HR policies.
  • Partner with management to provide coaching, guidance, and training on employee relations, performance management, and organizational best practices.
  • Lead investigations into employee concerns and complaints, ensuring thorough documentation and appropriate resolution.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements and organizational goals.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop proactive strategies for employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless experience for employees.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and ensure accurate documentation of HR actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support organizational change initiatives and talent management strategies.
  • Lead training initiatives related to workplace behavior, leadership development, and HR compliance.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (must be current and in good standing).
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a small to mid-size organizational setting.
  • Master’s degree in HR or related field.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and data analytics tools.

Work Environment:

  • This role typically operates in a professional office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or multi-site support.

Compensation and Benefits:

Settle Down ABA Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package, this package is based off a number of factors based in level of certifications, experience and qualifications.

  • Salary Range: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00
