Position Summary
The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing the organization’s human resources strategies, policies, and procedures. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, supports employee engagement, manages recruitment and onboarding, and partners with leadership to foster a productive and positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Lead end-to-end recruitment efforts, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and coordinating offers.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical positions.
- Oversee onboarding and orientation to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
2. Employee Relations
- Act as a primary point of contact for employee concerns, conflicts, and performance issues.
- Investigate and resolve workplace complaints in line with company policy and legal regulations.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
3. Performance Management
- Manage performance appraisal cycles, including goal-setting, evaluations, and feedback sessions.
- Assist managers with performance improvement plans (PIPs).
- Provide coaching to leaders on effective people management practices.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Administer payroll, benefits programs, and leave management.
- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation structures.
- Support annual salary reviews and benefits enrollment.
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and implement development programs.
- Support leadership development, employee skill-building, and compliance training.
- Track training effectiveness and participation.
7. HR Strategy & Reporting
- Work with senior management to align HR initiatives with company goals.
- Generate HR metrics and reports (turnover, hiring, employee engagement, etc.).
- Lead or support organizational development initiatives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred).
- 3–7+ years of HR generalist or HR management experience.
