Job Summary: The Human Resource Manager will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies and activities of the companies and manage the staff of the human resources department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior management to understand the organization's goals, values, and strategies related to staffing, recruiting, and retention
Create and implement strategies to integrate the companies culture and mission as defined by ownership to all lines of business
Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs
Administer or oversee the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale
Coordinate with General Managers and Operations to identify staffing and recruiting needs; develop and execute best practices for hiring and talent management
Standardize metrics of organizational trends and conduct research and analysis to ensure metrics are met or exceeded
Monitor and ensure the companies compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance
Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; apply this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to senior management
Facilitate professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff as needed
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields or equivalent experience required
Minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resources management or management track role preferred
Professional certification in Human Resources or the ability to obtain certification with 12 months of hire required
Exhibit effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
Primarily office environment with occasional exposure to noise and dust
Occasional plant environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust and varying weather conditions
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs, with occasional lifting up to 15 pounds
Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
