This position will support the strategic and operational objectives of the Human Resources Department. The selected candidate will work cooperatively and respectfully with staff, visitors, and volunteers to provide a positive applicant, onboarding, and ongoing employment experience.

Some of the position responsibilities include:

  • Support the development and implementation of HR strategies that are aligned with business objectives.
  • Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes to include pre-employment processing, reference checking, physical/drug screen, live scan, nursing license/certificate verification, new employee orientation scheduling, and payroll status changes for new employees.
  • Administer and optimize the HRIS system.
    • Input new hires into the HRIS system.
    • Assists with tracking of HR metrics such as turnover, retention, and time to hire.
    • Serve as backup for running biweekly payroll.
  • Maintains employee records in compliance with state and federal labor laws.
  • Three to five years’ experience in human resources office environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in a variety of circumstances and make sound judgments.
  • Strong HRIS knowledge required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Publisher.
  • Above average verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels of the organization.
