In this position, you will help guide the employee experience from hire to retire while supporting a positive, accountable, and service-driven culture. You will also occasionally wear multiple hats by assisting other departments, including helping with customer intake or office operations when teamwork calls for it. What You’ll Do

As our HR Manager, you will:

  • Lead recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts
  • Manage employee relations and provide coaching to managers
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR compliance
  • Develop policies, training programs, and performance initiatives
  • Support leadership with workforce planning and strategy
  • Conduct investigations and maintain confidential employee records
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Help foster a positive, engaged workplace culture
  • Assist with customer service functions such as phone intake when needed
  • Support other departments as a collaborative team member
  • Work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of progressive HR experience
  • Experience in payroll and HR administration required
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.) preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong computer and HRIS skills- QuickBooks experience a plus
  • Bilingual a plus, but not required

Compensation & Benefits include:

  • Salary: $50,000 (exempt) for 4+ years of experience without degree or certification
  • $53,000 (exempt) for 5+ years of experience with a degree and/or certification (i.e. SHRM or HRCI)
  • 8am to 4:30pm in person
  • Vacation eligibility after 1 year of service (80 hours front loaded after 1 year of service)
  • 16 hours PTO after 90-day introductory period
  • NJ Earned Sick Leave in accordance with state law (40 hours front loaded to use after 120 days of employment)
  • Medical insurance available after 90 days ($14.99 per pay – employee only)
  • $2,500 benefits card to help cover deductibles

  • 401(k) with 3% company match up to $1,500 annually after eligibility
  • Paid holidays after 90 day introductory period
  • Employee's birthday is a paid day off after 90 day introductory period
