The Orthopedic & Sports Institute is seeking a full time onsite Human Resources Manager for a busy Orthopedic clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of HR practices, federal and state regulations, payroll practices, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Recruitment (ATS, job posting, interviews, offer letters)
  • Onboarding
  • Coach and mentor team members
  • Assistance with Performance Improvement Plans
  • Employee relations
  • Create and maintain job descriptions
  • Work collaboratively with leadership, finance, and marketing team
  • Process payroll
  • Payroll year-end responsibilities (W-2 & 1095)
  • Management of Workers Compensation including audits
  • Management of confidential employee information
  • Coordination with occupational health
  • Promote and build a wellness program
  • Organization and policy review
  • Benefit administration (collaborate with broker, maintain benefits, and open enrollment)
  • 401k administration (enrollment, maintenance of accounts, and year-end census)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business
  • 8 years of Human Resources experience preferably in Healthcare
  • SHRM Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of Paycom or similar payroll system
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint
