Human Resources Manager
Full-Time | Providence, Rhode Island
Revive Therapeutic Services is seeking a skilled and mission-aligned Human Resources manager to join our growing team. This role serves as the operational backbone of our human resources function, supporting the full employee lifecycle from recruiting and on-boarding through performance management, compliance, and off-boarding. The ideal candidate brings strong generalist HR experience, familiarity with behavioral health or human services environments, and a people-first approach to HR partnership.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical, administrative, and support roles
- Conduct structured onboarding including credential verification, background checks, and new hire orientation
- Maintain applicant tracking and ensure compliance with EEO/AA practices
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and HR
- Support supervisors in performance coaching, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution
- Conduct exit interviews and identify themes to inform retention strategy
- Champion a culture of belonging, inclusion, and psychological safety
HR Compliance & Administration
- Maintain accurate/confidential staff files in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Track licensure, certifications, and annual training requirements for all clinical staff
- Ensure compliance with RI and MA employment law, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, and behavioral health licensing standards
- Assist in maintaining and updating HR policies, the Employee Handbook, and standard operating procedures
- Support subrecipient monitoring requirements as they relate to HR documentation
Payroll & Benefits Support
- Process biweekly payroll and ensure accurate, timely payroll for all staff
- Administer employee benefits enrollment, changes, and renewals; serve as liaison with vendor
- Assist in open enrollment planning and employee benefits education
HR Systems & Reporting
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports on headcount, turnover, and HR metrics
- Support leadership with workforce planning data and compliance reporting
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of HR generalist experience; behavioral health, human services, or nonprofit experience strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of RI and MA employment law and HR compliance requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across clinical and administrative teams
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms
Preferred
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent HR certification
- Experience supporting state-contracted or government-funded behavioral health programs
- Familiarity with credentialing, licensure tracking, or clinical workforce management
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Portuguese) a plus

Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
