Compal is seeking an experienced Talent Development and Organizational Development Manager to lead Compal USA’s strategy and programs for leadership development, employee learning, performance enablement, and organizational effectiveness. This role builds scalable systems that strengthen talent readiness, accelerate capability building, and enhance the employee experience across our U.S. operations. The ideal candidate is a builder, someone who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments, brings strong instructional design and facilitation skills, and understands the talent demands of a global manufacturing and technology company.

What You'll Do

Talent Development

  • Design and deliver leadership development programs for front line supervisors, managers, and high-potential employees.
  • Build competency frameworks and development pathways aligned with business and technical skill requirements.
  • Create and facilitate training modules on communication, coaching, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and people leadership.
  • Manage learning systems (LMS) and track progress, completion, and capability-building outcomes.
  • Partner with global HR teams to leverage existing programs and localize content for U.S. operations.

Organizational Development

  • Lead organizational diagnostics and needs assessments to identify capability gaps, culture opportunities, and workforce challenges.
  • Support org design activities including team structure reviews, role clarity, and job leveling initiatives.
  • Facilitate change management strategies for new processes, technologies, and organizational transitions.
  • Drive initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and manager effectiveness.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for succession planning and talent reviews.

Performance & Culture

  • ● Partner with leaders to implement a performance management approach that emphasizes feedback, coaching, and accountability.
  • Train managers on effective goal setting, development planning, and performance conversations.
  • Support culture-building efforts that reinforce Compal’s values, leadership expectations, and operational excellence mindset.
  • Develop communications and toolkits that help managers and employees navigate performance and development processes.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leaders and HR partners on talent, engagement, and organizational effectiveness issues.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Operations leadership to support capability needs.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, coaches, content creators, and facilitators.
  • Lead special projects such as onboarding redesign, employee experience enhancements, and leadership competency integration.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in talent development, OD, learning & development, or organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and instructional design capabilities.
  • Experience designing and delivering training in manufacturing, technology, or complex operational environments.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to analyze talent data and translate insights into action.
  • Deep understanding of change management principles, adult learning theory, and organizational behavior.

Preferred

  • Master’s degree in OD, I/O Psychology, HR, or related field.
  • Experience supporting large-scale operations or global organizations.
  • Certifications in coaching, assessments (e.g., MBTI, DiSC), change management (e.g., PROSCI), or L&D.
  • Experience with LMS systems, engagement platforms, and performance management tools.
