REPORTING TO: Chief Operating Officer

TYPE: Full Time (Non-Exempt)

RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible for supporting core Human Resources functions while also ensuring efficient day-to-day operational processes across the organization. This role plays a critical part in recruiting, employee engagement, compliance, and administrative operations, helping to create a productive, compliant, and positive work environment. This person provides assurance that operations are conducted in a manner that is consistent with stated goals and objectives that are in accordance with established policies and procedural guidelines, and compliant with federal and state regulatory mandates.

The job requires an outgoing, friendly, and professional personality with a keen attention to detail and the ability to master the various computer software platforms and systems. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter and realize the importance of fast-paced and accurate work while prioritizing the various duties in the office.

DUTIES:

Human Resources Duties

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing coordination, and onboarding
  • Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS accuracy
  • Administer benefits, payroll support, and leave management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
  • Support performance review cycles and management
  • Coordinate employee training and professional development programs
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Track HR metrics and develop necessary reports

Operations Duties

  • Support day-to-day office and operational workflows
  • Develop and improve internal processes and standard operating procedures
  • Support the management of vendor relationships
  • Assist with the needs of facilities and remote office locations and employees
  • Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and operational reporting
  • Support cross-functional projects and company initiatives
  • Coordinate internal communications and team meetings

Other Duties

  • Other duties may be added from time to time, so it is important to realize that this is a multifaceted role that requires an ability to be flexible and to meet the changing business environment

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Preferred Experience

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, etc.)
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with payroll systems

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
