Job Summary:
The Human Resources Recruiter will support the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing, tracking the onboarding, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Sourcing
- Post and manage job listings across multiple platforms.
- Source candidates through online databases, job boards, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and evaluate candidate qualifications.
- Conduct interviews.
Candidate Experience
- Guide candidates through the application and interview process.
- Provide timely communication and feedback to applicants.
- Represent the organization professionally and promote its mission and values.
Onboarding Support
- Coordinate with the HR team to ensure smooth transitions from candidate to employee.
- Assist with background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment documentation.
- Support orientation scheduling and preparation.
Collaboration
- Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and create recruitment strategies.
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and hiring progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a recruiter, HR specialist, or in a similar talent acquisition role.
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
