The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruiting to support manufacturing, warehouse, engineering, and corporate operations. This role manages high-volume hourly recruiting through staffing agencies. The Recruiter partners closely with hiring managers, staffing vendors, and HR to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality hiring aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Full-Cycle Recruiting
- Manage end-to-end recruiting processes from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
- Support hiring for hourly, temp-to-hire, and salaried roles across manufacturing, warehouse, quality, engineering, IT, and operations.
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, urgency, and hiring strategy.
- Coordinate interviews, collect feedback, and guide hiring managers through decision-making.
Hourly Recruiting & Staffing Agency Management
- Manage high-volume hourly recruiting through approved staffing agencies.
- Distribute requisitions to agencies and manage candidate submittals.
- Track staffing agency usage, markup rates, and referral costs.
- Ensure agency compliance with Wiwynn hiring standards, documentation, and timelines.
- Coordinate temp-to-hire conversions as required.
Reporting, Metrics & Systems
- Maintain accurate recruiting data in tracking tools and Excel-based Open Positions Reports.
- Update requisition status, priority, days open, and hiring progress.
- Monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, aging requisitions, and hiring volume.
- Support leadership reporting and audits as needed.
Compliance & Process Discipline
- Ensure recruiting activities comply with company policies, labor laws, and EEO requirements.
- Maintain consistent documentation throughout the hiring process.
- Support internal audits and HR compliance reviews.
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with HR, hiring managers, operations leaders, and staffing agencies.
- Communicate clearly regarding hiring timelines, risks, and constraints.
- Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes and workflows.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or high-volume environment.
- Experience working with staffing agencies strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting both hourly and salaried roles is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting practices.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Professional judgment, discretion, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:
- Office and manufacturing support environment.
- Frequent interaction with hiring managers, candidates, and staffing partners.
- Occasional time spent on the production floor or warehouse as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to use standard office equipment and computer systems.
- Ability to move between office and operational areas as required.
