Overview
A&B Precision Metals, Inc., Nevada's premier Precision Sheet Metal Fabrication house is seeking a seasoned HR Specialist to provide our employees with guidance and support as they continue to maintain our excellent standing as an employer of choice within our community. This position is charged with handling a wide variety of responsibilities spanning talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, organizational development, supportive communications, and labor law compliance.
Duties
- Recuritment & Onboarding: Manage job postings, screen resumes, coordinate interviews and drug testing activities, and conduct new hire orientation.
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, facilitate conflict resolution, and support performance management.
- Benefits: Open enrollment scheduling, monthly benefit onboarding, assist employees with questions regarding all benefits, leaves of absence, or 401(k) plans.
- Compensation: Manage review cycles, enhancement programs, training and upscaling, and assist with payroll processing as needed.
- Compliance and Recordkeeping: Ensure the Company adhers to federal and state labor laws, maintain accurate personnel related documents and files, assist with audits.
- Organizational Development: Spearhead and participate in company-wide cross training initiatives while tracking progression and needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of human capital management practices.
- Knowledge of employment & labor law regulations including FMLA, OSHA standards, and affirmative action planning.
- Demonstrated ability in project management, change management strategies, and organization design processes.
- Skilled in talent acquisition techniques such as recruiting through social media platforms.
- Experience with benefits administration systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle employee relations issues effectively and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills with experience in data collection, data entry, conflict management, training & development programs.
- Familiarity with safety compliance standards such as OSHA regulations; ability to manage contracts related to HR services is a plus.
- SHRM Certification a plus.

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
