Responsibilities:
PURPOSE:
To provide critical support to and within the Human Resources Department including maintenance of employee data, compliance with all laws and company policies, and assistance in the execution of HR initiatives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Enter and maintain employee data in multiple data bases and software systems
- Create metrics with advanced tables and charting in Excel to analyze payroll and employment data
- Complete verifications of employment for management
- Manage probation evaluation program
Assists in the administration of New Employee Orientation
- Produce and manage weekly/monthly reporting of talent pool
- Ensure company recruitment process supports guidelines for equal employment opportunities
- Review unemployment notices and respond
- Assist the Senior Director of Human Resources on any legal requests
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws related to minimum wage, child-labor, overtime and record keeping
- Review all IWO and garnishment orders
- Review and assist in entry of all employee status changes
- Review and track all disciplinary action, provide follow up when required
- Assist with all uniform ordering
- Respond to employees queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist with design and implementation of training and development plans
- Consult with department managers on development performance improvement measures and arrange on-the-job training for new employees.
- Assist with set up of leadership development programs for benchmarking/succession planning
- Coordinate programs to assistant employees with job transition/retraining to develop/refresh skillsets
- Attend and actively participate in meetings as required
- Organize and maintain personnel records in compliance with laws
- Ensure compliance with Labor Law postings at all locations
- Maintain confidentiality at all times
- Provide excellent customer service
- Participate in HR projects
- Manage multiple duties simultaneously
- Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Driver License
- 4 year degree and 1 year experience in Business, HR or other related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Aphr, PHR or SHRM-CDP preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent data entry and typing skills preferred
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Detail-oriented, analytical thinker, and problem-solver
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and react to change productively
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems
- Ability to work on tasks independently or in a team environment
- Excellent attendance
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Primarily sedentary work, which involves sitting most of the time
- May be occasionally required to exert up to 20 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- The general office environment is favorable; Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc;
- Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
- Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers
- Talking and hearing required to communicate with and listen to others to share or receive information; May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others

Pay Range: USD $47,000.00 - USD $52,500.00 /Yr.
