We are a growing healthcare organization committed to providing high-quality patient care and fostering a supportive, compliant, and inclusive work environment. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist with a strong background in Healthcare to join our team.

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for supporting and managing HR functions within a healthcare setting. This role requires hands-on experience with healthcare compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and HR best practices in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions
  • Oversee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Support employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
  • Administer benefits, leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation
  • Assist with policy development and updates aligned with healthcare standards
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
  • Support audits, credentialing, and licensing requirements for healthcare staff

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum 3+ years of HR experience, with direct experience in a healthcare environment
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare labor laws, compliance, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
  • Bilingual is a plus!
