We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Administrator / Payroll Administrator to support our growing team.

The HR Administrator / Payroll Administrator will play a critical role in supporting employees throughout their lifecycle with the company, while ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. This position requires discretion, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with management and staff.

You’ll handle weekly payroll, timekeeping support, personnel records, and assist with recruiting, onboarding, and benefits. This role serves as a key resource for employees, ensuring accurate documentation and smooth HR processes. The ideal candidate is organized, customer‑focused, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and maintains confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Payroll & Timekeeping

  • Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
  • Ensure proper calculation of wages, overtime, commissions, and deductions
  • Manage payroll changes related to new hires, terminations, benefits, and compensation updates
  • Assist employees with timecard questions, corrections, and submissions
  • Coordinate with payroll providers and address payroll discrepancies
  • Prepare payroll reports and assist with audits as needed
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws

Human Resources

  • Provide confidential administrative support across all HR functions including but not limited to employee onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination
  • Assist with employee handbook updates and policy compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State HR regulations (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
  • Assist with benefits administration (health insurance, retirement plans, PTO tracking, etc.)
  • Assist with employee communications regarding HR updates, benefits, and company initiatives
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR-related questions and concerns
  • Promote a positive and professional workplace culture

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in HR administration and payroll processing
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS platforms (Paycom preferred)
  • Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism with strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and customer‑service mindset
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
