Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced HV Electrical Construction Manager to oversee and manage the execution of High Voltage (HV) electrical works for ongoing projects. The role involves supervising all construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations, and leading a diverse workforce to deliver projects on time and within budget. Immediate joiners will be given top priority.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction, installation, and commissioning of high-voltage substations, overhead lines (OHL), underground cabling, and related electrical infrastructure.
• Supervise project teams, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure timely and quality project execution.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to align site activities with client requirements.
• Monitor daily site activities and progress, preparing regular reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, IEEE, BS, etc.) and local regulations.
• Oversee quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes and ensure adherence to HSE requirements.
• Resolve technical issues, site challenges, and coordination conflicts between stakeholders.
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders for inspections, approvals, and progress updates.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement best practices in HV construction management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 5 years in HV projects (132kV, 220kV, 400kV, or higher).
• Strong technical knowledge of HV substations, transmission lines, and underground cable works.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale utility or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and MS Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional Engineer / Chartered Engineer certification is an advantage.
• Previous experience in the GCC region.
• Knowledge of renewable energy projects (solar/wind) integration with HV networks.
