Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts

Build and maintain long-term relationships with:

General contractors
-
Building owners
-
Facility managers and operators
-
Ensure customer satisfaction with service delivery, pricing, and project outcomes
-
Act as the “go-to” representative for all customer needs and escalations
2. Sales & Business Development
-
Drive revenue through the sale of HVAC services, including:
-
Preventative maintenance/service agreements
-
Repairs and equipment replacements
-
Retrofit and system upgrade projects
-
Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing accounts
-
Prospect and secure new customers to expand market share
-
Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline
3. Project Coordination & Oversight
-
Partner with Project Managers, field teams, and operations to support project execution
-
Ensure alignment on:
-
Scope of work
-
Project timelines
-
Customer expectations
-
Monitor project progress at a high level and communicate updates to customers
-
Support successful project delivery without direct day-to-day project management responsibility
4. Proposals, Contracts & Pricing

Prepare, review, and present:

Quotes and proposals
-
Service agreements
-
Contracts and scopes of work
-
Collaborate with estimating and operations on pricing strategy
-
Negotiate terms and conditions with customers as needed
-
Ensure projects and accounts meet profitability targets
5. Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with:

Sales and estimating teams
-
Project Managers and field operations
-
Finance and billing teams
-
Ensure internal alignment on customer requirements, deliverables, and expectations
-
Facilitate smooth handoffs from sales to operations
6. Issue Resolution & Problem Solving

Address customer concerns including:

Service issues
-
Project delays
-
Scope or contract discrepancies
-
Identify risks early and coordinate solutions quickly
-
Maintain strong customer trust through proactive communication
7. Performance Tracking & Forecasting

Monitor account performance, including:

Revenue and profitability
-
Project costs vs. budgets
-
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
-
Participate in account reviews and strategic planning initiatives
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
-
3–7+ years of experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction sales, or account management
-
Proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage customer relationships
-
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction processes, and service operations
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
