HVAC Commercial Service Technician

Overview
Hart Mechanical and Facilities Services is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial and industrial HVAC systems, hands-on mechanical knowledge, and proven experience in service and maintenance. This role involves installing, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation. The HVAC Technician will also serve as a trusted point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, chillers, and refrigeration equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to understand system layouts and specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to optimize system performance.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, ohmmeters, etc.
• Perform mechanical and electrical component repairs as needed.
• Collaborate with property maintenance teams to resolve HVAC-related concerns.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations and professional service.
• Stay current with industry trends, safety standards, and advancements in HVAC technology.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, Service Technician, and Installer.
• Strong commercial and industrial mechanical knowledge; background in construction, plumbing, or appliance repair is a plus.
• Ability to perform equipment repairs and preventative maintenance efficiently.
• Centrifugal chiller experience is a plus for certain repair tasks, not a must
• Knowledge of field service operations and HVAC/R systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Background Check and obtain MVR

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
