Job Purpose:
To assist and support the Commissioning Site Head in supervising the Greenfield EPCIC Contractors activities, in both preparation and execution phases.
Job Responsibilities:
EPCIC Pre-Commissioning/Commissioning Engineering Phase

Ensure proper implementation of all pre-commissioning / commissioning disciplines requirements.

Review the preparation of pre-commissioning / commissioning procedures (write the procedure, if necessary, in order to respect the planning and achieve the milestones in due time) and reporting tools prepared by contractors (such as but not limited to: including technical database, planning, punch lists control and follow-up of the disciplines concerned)

Promote safety within the commissioning activities and verify that safety procedures are implemented and followed.

Maximize onshore commissioning and minimize lost time due to interfaces.

Coordinate with other project entities / disciplines /existing facilities.

Ensure that the HVAC pre-commissioning and commissioning spare parts, consumables equipment, special tools, etc are sufficient and available in time.
EPCIC Commissioning Execution Phase (Onshore & Offshore)

Follow the contractor ’s HVAC commissioning activities using the OPERCOM® Methodology and ICAPS© (Integrated Commissioning And Progress System) software.

Monitor Contractor’s HVAC package installation on site for HVAC system: Air Conditioning Unit, Fan units, HVAC Electrical and Control Cabinets.

Supervise Ducting & Duct-in-line Equipment installation (including Safety Fire Dampers, Fire insulations and instrumentation) as well as duct leak test in compliance with Approved Engineering documentation.

Monitor fabrication of duct spool at Manufacturer premises in compliance with quality standards

Supervise Yard piping installation and connection to HVAC ACU/ACC package in compliance with Approved Isometric drawings, followed by Pressure leak test and refrigerant fill in

Follow the execution of HVAC commissioning activities as well as final air balancing test to achieve commissioning schedule completion target.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree or equivalent in Engineering

15-20 years’ experience in the offshore oil & gas industry with minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar Commissioning leader role

Proven track record of leadership and problem resolution

Fluent in English; strong interpersonal and good communication skills

Available for technical missions worldwide

Experienced with Total General Specifications, OPERCOM and ICAPS, PRODOM and relevant codes and standards

Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment

Computer Literate; H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET trainings
