HVAC Design Engineer- Senior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Design Engineer to design, develop, and implement heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of thermodynamics, airflow dynamics, and mechanical systems, and will be responsible for ensuring that HVAC systems are energy-efficient, code-compliant, and meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment selection for new construction and retrofit projects.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software.
• Perform load calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., HAP, TRACE 700, Carrier Hourly Analysis).
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into overall project designs.
• Provide technical support during construction, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals and shop drawings.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure systems are installed according to design and functioning properly.
• Assist in value engineering and energy modeling for LEED or green building certifications, if applicable.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimation efforts.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
