HVAC Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Draftsman to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed HVAC shop drawings, coordinating with other disciplines, and supporting project execution in compliance with UAE standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Develop layouts for ducting, chilled water piping, and HVAC equipment (AHUs, FCUs, etc.)
• Convert design drawings into accurate construction/shop drawings
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams
• Perform clash detection using Navisworks or similar tools
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority standards such as Dubai Municipality and DEWA
• Prepare material take-offs and assist in Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Update and maintain drawing revisions and documentation
• Prepare as-built drawings based on site conditions
• Provide technical support to engineers and site teams

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC drafting experience in UAE construction projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, and piping layouts
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection
• Understanding of local regulations and international standards (e.g., ASHRAE)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on high-rise or large-scale projects
• Knowledge of authority submission processes in UAE
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
