HVAC Engineer

Job Description:

As an experienced HVAC Engineer with 5 to 7 years of industry expertise, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, analysis, installation, and optimization of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial, industrial, or residential projects. This role demands a strong foundation in mechanical systems, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance, as well as proficiency in HVAC design software and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities:

Design & Engineering:
● Develop HVAC system designs using software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HAP/TRACE 3D Plus.
● Perform load calculations, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection based on ASHRAE standards.
● Ensure designs are compliant with local building codes, energy efficiency regulations, and client specifications.
Project Execution:
● Lead or assist in the execution of HVAC projects from concept to commissioning.
● Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and plumbing teams (MEP) to integrate HVAC systems.
● Prepare technical documentation including specifications, BOQs, and submittals.

Site Supervision & QA/QC:
● Monitor HVAC installation activities on-site and ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
● Perform site inspections, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
● Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical resolutions in coordination with contractors and vendors.

Energy Efficiency & Sustainability:
● Conduct energy modeling and analysis to enhance system performance.
● Propose energy-saving measures and sustainable HVAC solutions aligned with LEED or green building principles.

Client & Team Interaction:
● Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
● Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to drafting and site teams.

Required Skills & Competencies:
● In-depth knowledge of HVAC system design and installation practices
● Strong understanding of ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local mechanical codes
● Hands-on experience with design tools: AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, TRACE, etc.
● Ability to perform load calculations and energy simulations
● Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
● Strong communication and coordination abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,416.43 - ₹43,912.76 per month
