HVAC Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across various commercial sites. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad range of technical skills within a dynamic environment, ensuring optimal climate control solutions for our clients. The position is suitable for individuals with a passion for technical craftsmanship and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the installation, service, maintenance and fault finding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Install and commission equipment including VRV/VRF, split systems, multi-splits, AHUs, ventilation systems and chillers.
• Work on small works, upgrades, replacements and remedial installations.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive callouts.
• Diagnose faults and provide clear remedial recommendations.
• Complete digital job reports, service sheets and documentation accurately.
• Liaise professionally with clients on site and maintain high service standards.
• Assist with identifying quoted remedial opportunities and system improvements.
• Ensure works are completed safely and in line with company procedures and industry standards.

Skills

• Demonstrable experience working on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including servicing, fault finding and installation.
• Experience working on systems such as VRV/VRF, split systems, AHUs, ventilation and chillers.
• Experience with controls and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently within occupied commercial and educational environments.
• Valid F-Gas Category 1 qualification.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Pay: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
