Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced HVAC Engineer to join our Facilities Management team, supporting healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and compliance of HVAC systems in a hospital/medical environment, maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and patient comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems across healthcare facilities
• Ensure all HVAC systems comply with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and safety requirements
• Monitor and maintain air quality standards, including temperature, humidity, and filtration systems (HEPA, AHU, FCU, Chillers)
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
• Coordinate with maintenance teams, subcontractors, and vendors for HVAC-related works
• Support commissioning, testing, and handover of HVAC systems
• Maintain documentation, logs, and reports related to HVAC operations and compliance
• Ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of system failures
• Participate in audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance checks
• Implement energy-efficient solutions and cost-saving initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance within Facilities Management, preferably in healthcare/hospitals
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, and BMS
• Familiarity with healthcare standards, infection control, and indoor air quality requirements
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance planning
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• GCC/Qatar experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in HVAC or relevant technical field
• Experience working in hospitals or medical facilities
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and compliance standards

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR12,000.00 - QAR13,000.00 per month
