Responsibilities

• Assist experienced technicians in installing HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing components.
• Prepare job sites by organizing tools, materials, schematics, and equipment needed for installations.
• Support the setup of ductwork, electrical wiring, and mechanical connections following HVAC design plans and schematics.
• Help troubleshoot system issues using tools like ohmmeters and assist in equipment repair or replacement as directed.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all phases of installation and service tasks.
• Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and ensure all work complies with industry standards.
• Support the team in performing routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or background in construction, plumbing, refrigeration, or mechanical work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Basic knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and electrical wiring is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as ohmmeters or welding equipment is advantageous.
• Mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning HVAC/R systems and appliance repair techniques.
• Ability to work outdoors or in confined spaces while maintaining safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers or similar vehicles is beneficial.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.15 per hour
