Job Overview
Join our dedicated team at Standard as a HVAC Install Foreman where we’re looking for a motivated individual eager to make a positive impact on our customers' experiences.
We are seeking a motivated, experienced individual to join our team here at Standard as a HVAC Install Foreman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising the team during the installation, maintenance, and repairing of HVAC systems in residential properties. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our customers. Responsibilities
· Supervise a team of HVAC Installers
· Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties according to specifications and building codes
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures
· Measure, cut and fit ductwork and piping using appropriate tools and techniques
· Install electrical wiring and controls for HVAC systems, ensuring proper connections and functionality
· Test HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently and meet performance standards
· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as needed
· Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC systems, identifying the root cause and implementing effective solutions
· Collaborate with other team members and contractors to coordinate installation projects and ensure timely completion
· Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or questions from homeowners and ensuring their satisfaction with the installed HVAC system
· Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours and service reports
Competencies
· Proven experience as an HVAC installer, with a minimum of 3-5 years in residential settings
· Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration principles.
· Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
· Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
· Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and safety standards related to HVAC installation.
· Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
· EPA Universal Certification for handling refrigerants.

Compensation
Hourly wage: $20-30/hour
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Standard reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
