Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled HVAC Installer to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment, following schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Conduct system troubleshooting and perform repairs on existing HVAC/R equipment, ensuring optimal operation.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately assemble and install complex mechanical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to prevent future issues.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical problems and repair mechanical components.
- Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or service technician roles within HVAC, refrigeration, or property maintenance fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and HVAC design plans accurately.
- Experience with appliance repair, boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration, and field service operations is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical troubleshooting using ohmmeters, welding skills, and equipment repair techniques.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating <PERSON> drivers or similar vehicles preferred.
- Ability to work in various environments requiring physical activity such as lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R standards including refrigerant handling (e.g., ammonia refrigeration) is a plus. Pay: $24.04 - $28.96 per hour
