Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation.
Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for proper system installation.
Utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for mechanical assembly when necessary.
Diagnose issues with refrigeration systems using specialized tools like ammonia refrigeration gauges and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, inspection logs, and parts used.

Qualifications

Proven experience in HVAC installation or service technician roles.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and boiler operation.
Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles during installation projects.
Familiarity with field service procedures including HVAC repair and equipment troubleshooting.
Experience operating tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair instruments.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
