Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams for proper system installation.
• Utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for mechanical assembly when necessary.
• Diagnose issues with refrigeration systems using specialized tools like ammonia refrigeration gauges and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, inspection logs, and parts used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC installation or service technician roles.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and boiler operation.
• Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design principles during installation projects.
• Familiarity with field service procedures including HVAC repair and equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience operating tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair instruments.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
